The Role:
The Role:
Based in Rochester, our client is looking for a driven and ambitious Junior/Trainee CAD technician to further strengthen their design team in the civils sector. Whether you only have limited experience of AutoCAD software or you are looking to get back into a design office, this role caters for both.

The office is busy, open plan with positive atmosphere so is perfect for those who are a team player. Initially a 6 month contract, this opportunity also offers the potential to go permanent.

Working in the landscaping, landfill, buildings and civil works space you will be involved in three main phases:

1. Using AUTOCAD software to preform required functions (Full training provided).
2. Cataloguing files and creating an index in Microsoft Excel.
3. Progressing onto editing and creating 2D drawings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Good communication skills - the tasks will involve a lot of written instructions from our clients, with telephone liaison.
* General file management computer/admin skills and basic level use of Excel.
* Autodesk AutoCAD software - some experience with this software at any level, and a desire to develop drawing skills
* Team work at a fast paced but do have some fun and banter so looking for a team player who can support where needed.
