Piping Superintendent - FPSO

The Role:
* Demonstrate a high level of awareness in safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and installation and hook-up of offshore oil and gas facilities.
* Excellent communication and written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
* Sound knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS commissioning management system.
* Extensive experience working under permit to work systems and adhering to permit to work conditions.
* Strong capability to work to project schedules and budgets in an offshore environment.
* Strong team orientated skills with capacity to organise teams, define priorities and provide clear directions.
* Proactive in prevention and practical resolution of technical problems.
* Knowledge of industry construction codes and standards such as all ASTM, MSSP , PFI, ASME, API, ASNZ/BS/EN and Norsok piping related Standard codes.
* Experience of pre-commissioning and system handovers.
* Technical knowledge of flange and valve management, piping test packs (hydrotest, N2He leak test, etc.).
* Knowledge in process piping welding and associated NDE.
* Lead the offshore hook-up and pre-commissioning activities with regards to their discipline.
* Assist in the handover of pre-commissioning dossiers to commissioning.
* Review all findings and modifications on the "Redline Markup" master drawings.
* Attend to daily hook-up meetings, provide assistance and co-operation to implement and follow the day-to-day activities.
* Attend PTW/SIMOPS daily meetings and assist in raising work permits for scheduled scopes.
* Report on a daily basis the progress, issues, hold-ups to FPSO hook-up construction superintendent.
* Liaise and work cohesively with all parties offshore.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 15 years' experience in onshore and offshore construction within the oil & gas industry including working in Korea and Australia.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in working in hook-up and pre-commissioning phases of a project. Turret experience advantageous
* Experience with large production facilities, working offshore and with live facilities.
* BOSIET - required for those involved the Tow phase
* TBOSIET - minimum requirement for those individuals mobilized post Tow phase
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space Entry
