The Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Superintendent to join a leading, global operator based here in Perth, Western Australia. This position will see you responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the companies QA/QC program during the hook up and commissioning phase of their latest LNG project.

Key Responsibilities Include but will not be limited to:
* Demonstrate a high level of awareness in safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and installation and hook-up of offshore oil and gas facilities.
* Excellent communication and written skills (English) and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
* Sound knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS commissioning management system.
* Extensive experience working under permit to work systems and adhering to permit to work conditions.
* Facility certification, permit documentation and liaison with regulators.
* Knowledge of offshore validation schemes based on safety critical elements and their performance standards.
* Familiarity with occupational health and safety management systems requirements for oil & gas projects.
* Familiarity with risk management processes.
* Knowledge of QC systems for the monitoring and surveillance of world-wide vendors to the offshore industry

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in oil and gas projects and familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
* Extensive experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.
* Extensive experience in Offshore Facilities
* Development and implementation of QA/QC programs for very large capital resource projects (including oil & gas) after contract award and during execution; including identification of critical items, vendor evaluation, and quality team leadership.
* Supervision of third party inspection and verification bodies.
* Fabrication, welding, coating, inspection & testing, PMI.
* Development and auditing of quality management systems and QA/QC programs.
* Engineering, construction, hook-up and commissioning of upstream facilities.
* TBOSIET - Minimum requirement

* Trade Level Qualification - Discipline Specific
* Inspection Certification - Relevant Methodology

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Valid First Aid Cert
* Non Destructive Testing Inspection Level 1
* Non Destructive Testing Inspection Level 2
