Due to the current travel restrictions, this vacancy is only applicable to those who are LOCALLY BASED IN QATAR.

Applicant must be able to provide NOC from current employer.

This is a 5-Month (Extendable) Contract Role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 Years working experience as project engineer.
  • Experience in project works in the Energy Sector / Oil & Gas Industry
  • Familiar with Ras Laffan sites

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Owner's project assigned civil and structural point of contact with construction contractors and subcontractors;
  2. Review, comment and adjust construction contractors' civil and structural works execution schedule/program to satisfy the overall project schedule;
  3. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support where and as required;
  4. Review engineering and design documentation in order to control the qualitative aspects of the civil works deliverables and initiate appropriate and timely corrective actions in case of non conformances in the material, the execution or the envisaged result or the deliverables;
  5. Ensure that the materials, manpower, machineries, authorities approval and site condition are sufficient and ready before commencement of the particular activity.
  6. Review and control the material quantities of executed works to be in line to the contractual bill of quantities ;
  7. Ensure that works carried out meet company's quality standards and contractual requirements, monitor compliance to applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications practices and ensure good workmanship according to contract specification or Owner's approval;
  8. Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, progress reports and comments/revision of schedule as required;
  9. Confirm and record the site and contractor/subcontractor personnel working hours, construction material quantities, and materials and equipment availability/usage on site daily basis;
  10. Arrange or organize with the contractor for storage, delivery, handling and unloading of materials and/or disposal as might be the case
  11. Ensure quality documentation to be generated in accordance with the requirement and the
  12. applicable standards and specifications
  13. Interact with the Owner, Client, RLIC Authorities and the Ministry to fulfill their needs and
  14. requirements and represent them in the field as might be required ;
