The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a Facilities Project Manager for their busy London office, to support project formulation and execution activities. This is a long term position, and it is envisaged that employment will initially be on a contract basis. The role will include periodic trips to the field, which is a remote location.

The role will combine hands-on technical delivery with the project management of London based projects from pre-FEED stage to detail design and construction and commissioning support. At any one time you may be running 6+ projects - not particularly high value, but in terms of brownfield complexity would take quite a lot of focus.

Our client are a fairly small organisation, so the person profile is very important to them. Candidates must be highly motivated, hands-on, self-starting, action-centred and flexible in their approach.

The role would suit an experienced (15+ years) well-rounded engineering and project management professional, with a strong facilities engineering background

Project scopes may include:

* Supporting drilling with well pad construction, flowlines
* Additional water injection pumping
* Additional power generation, mainly gas engines
* Replacement flares
* Additional separators to scrub at gas at the front end of processes
* Filtration systems for water injection

Our client is an Operator, with assets in remote locations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Brownfield projects experience
* Evidence of hands on projects implementation of onshore projects. Experience of handling multiple smaller projects or components of larger projects is well regarded.
* Evidence of direct responsibility and hands on approach to all aspects (engineering contractor supervision, procurement coordination, construction and commissioning planning and coordination) of the implementation of projects from design stages to field installation and handover
* Evidence of overall accountability for achieving project(s) to cost / schedule / quality requirements
* Site experience of construction / fabrication management and commissioning is well regarded (enables the candidate to ensure early stage deliverables are most conducive to effective field execution which is often where much of the project spend occurs)
* Experience of working in both contractor and operating company environments
* Experience of executing projects in remote onshore locations with l
