The Role:
Responsible for providing geo-information services - mapping, spatial analysis, geo-information management (land/offshore survey, remote sensing), workflows and standards through services inline with the geo-information strategy.
To ensure customer requirements are met and risks are managed, there is special emphasis on HSSE, asset and information integrity, and ensuring that the customer realises the full potential and value of geomatics support and geo-information services.

- To ensure the transfer of skills and knowledge of geomatics processes and standards to joint- venture company.
- To ensure geodetic integrity of safety critical geo-information and geo-spatial data.
- Provide technical expertise and geo-information services to the business.
- Accountable for execution of assigned geo-information management projects (deliverables).
- Ensuring close and aligned cooperation internal between distributed Geomatics teams and externally with government agencies, survey contractors, and engineering, design and construction contractors.
- Ensure all Geo-Information activities comply with standards/guidelines from Geo-Information strategy.
- Identify, develop and implement novel GIS applications and services that add value to the business. e.g. Setup and maintain corporate and project geodatabase for infrastructure and facilities, Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) mapping, GPS and road-hazard mapping.
- Contribute to HSSE including providing geo-information services for emergency response.
- Provide training and coaching to colleagues (e.g. operations surveyor) in one or more subject areas that can include GIS/RS or Geo-Information management practices.
- Work closely with Geomatics Operations Surveyor to ensure adequate geo-Information and mapping support is in place for operational activities, in particular managing survey deliverables.
- Coordinate, manage and ensure awareness of our EP18 incident register
- Assist in performing geodetic QC requests. - Manage map services (WebGIS) corporate content and publising/promoting geo-information via the MyMaps.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Geomatics or related science degree from an internationally recognised university.
