Accountabilities:
* Demonstrate the ability to reviewing and providing feedback on safety plans, procedures, JSAs, safe work plans, etc.
* Effectively communicates with Field EHS Leaders, contractors, peers, and Construction and Project Management teams both in written and verbal communication.
* Listens and understands other perspectives and collaborates to develop effective solutions.
* Actively engage with the onsite Construction and Project Management teams and contractors highlighting successes and implementing best practices.
* Actively and continuously look for hazards for the assigned project Work site and communicate such observations and safe alternative suggestions to Construction Safety Specialist and the Contractor's EHS counterpart.
* Act as the primary liaison between all EHS advisors and representatives associated with their locations. * Manage the overall safety of the Project activities at the assigned project Work site, including participation in at least two tool box meetings per week and review Job Safety Analyses (JSA) / Permits to Work (PTW) as practical to ensure applicable Safety Work Plans (SWP) are followed; randomly select and audit Contractor's.
* Participate in safety calls.
* Participate in safety award programs or incentives initiated for the assigned project Work site.
* Utilize practical applications of education or experience when developing solutions and understands how the decision will impact the Construction project.
* Complies with and enforces all safety requirements for the assigned project Work site.
* Conduct routine safety walks throughout the assigned project Work site.
* Presents the results of research and analysis as it relates to the Construction and Project teams' needs in a professional manner to onsite personnel.
* Leads by example by initiating discussions and utilizing their relationships to drive and influence change throughout the location.
* Immediately report any safety event, regardless of severity, to the Project EHS Representative, Construction Safety Specialist, Contractor's EHS counterpart and the Sr. or Lead Safety Advisor, if applicable; attend and lead any incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
* Complete all required safety reporting as needed within timely manner.
* Active involvement with Construction Inspectors assigned to the project Work site and supports Inspectors EHS concerns or guidance, as needed.


Experience Required: Preferred:
* 5 years of Pipeline/Industrial Construction Safety, Petroleum Safety, Offshore Safety experience or equivalent combination of experience and college education
* 8 years of Pipeline/Industrial Construction Safety, Petroleum Safety, Offshore Safety experience * Construction and Operations Safety experience

Education/Licensing/Certification Required: Preferred:
* High school diploma or GED * OSHA 30-Hour Card for construction (1926) or equivalent college education in safety, health or environment
* Associate degree in safety, health or environment * Bachelor's Degree in any field * ASP, CET, CHST, COSS, CSD, CSHO, CSM, CSP, CSSM, GSP, LSP, OHST, SMS, STS, STSC, TSP

Equipment Required: Preferred:
* Cell phone, Computer and Cellular wifi hub (Client will provide reasonable access to reliable Internet) may be required
* PPE - FRC ("Brownfield"), impact protection gloves, hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety boots, high visibility safety vest
