The Role:
Job Drilling Material Coordinator (DMC)
Location Aberdeen
Rotation 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Scope 2 x wells for +/- 80 days in total (inc +/- 10 day onshore training period)

he Role:
Reporting to the Drilling Supervisor, DMC is an offshore based position that is the focal point for the day to day logistics, equipment and services support to UKCS drilling operations. Fully committed and dedicated to support material coordination and logistics.
A strong working relationship with Drilling, Logistics, and HSE teams shall be demonstrated.
The DMC will act in support of all equipment, personnel requirements and services to the installation.

Key Accountabilities:
 Focal point for all logistics and materials movements to drilling installation - both for marine and aviation.
 Provide operational feedback to Logistics/DSR onshore on daily requirements.
 Report and coordinate the need for deviation / additional supply.
 Lead by example to encourage and promote good teamwork to ensure the safe and efficient running of Company's interests on the installation
 Attend drilling and logistics meetings as required.
 Attend Logistics Loading meeting to coordinate vessel and deck planning offshore.
 Consultation with vessel crew to advise plan of lifting operations. Pre-advising before vessel enters safety zone with regard to vessel unloading / loading plan
 Prepare and distribute daily operations and logistics 10-day look-ahead in conjunction with the Offshore Drilling Supervisor/DSR to forecast vessel and personnel movements
 Use Company cargo management system (WELS) according to best practice. This includes cargo request and planning, deck management, cargo management and POB management.
 Prepare and distribute Company's drilling back load manifest and ensure that all supporting documentation including Dangerous Goods Declarations, SEPA Waste Notes, UCC customs awareness, and any other paperwork.
 Manage resources to ensure cost efficiency at all times
 Ensure safe and efficient deck management
 Ensure supply vessel NPT is minimise
 Reconciliation of all material usage. Assist with management of Well reconciliation
 Coordinate backload of all drilling material with vendors
 Responsible for deck management to ensure most efficient use of deck space and CCUs on board.
 Highlight any abnormal lifts requiring additional planning
 Waste Management coordination - both rig waste and well waste. Manifest / SEPA documentation / Dangerous Goods and ensure full waste compliance from installation.
 Mentor and develop deck crew and other services personnel
