The Role:
The role is the logistics focal point for during offshore operations for our Clients UKCS activity. The role will report to their Operations Supervisor.
Key responsibilities are to:
* Assist in the planning, scheduling and delivery of all materials to meet operational requirements.
* Provide Marine coordination assistance to our Clients Marine resources in field and in port.
* Ensure IT logistics cargo, crane and deck management tool (WELS) is used according to best practice
* Produce and issue Daily logistics plan
* Ensure all materials are moved in line with Company procedures and Legislative requirements
* Liaison with internal and external stakeholders both on and offshore to ascertain requirements and schedule vessels to suit. This shall include cargo requirements, vessel routing and cargo prioritisation and shall make the most efficient use of Vessels.
* Coordination of cargo requirements (deck, under-deck, drilling chemicals, fuel, water and bulks) for offshore installations/rigs
* Closely monitor all 3rd party rentals ensuring cost effective use and movement of equipment.
* Ensure verbal and written communication is maintained at all time between our Client and the supplier representatives onshore and offshore.
* Continuously promote a proactive HSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance.
* Build effective relationships across the business continually seeking to improve operational efficiency and identify cost savings.
* Present a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and behaviour in accordance with our Clients values.
* Proactively assist both Customer and colleagues, undertaking adhoc duties as required.
* Assist on personnel logistics for aviation.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

* Strong personal integrity
* Successful candidates must be experienced Logistics professionals with proven track records of working within onshore oil and gas projects, either directly or through an integrated service provider.
* Able to work to a 7 day on, 7 day off rotation. Core hours will be 0700-1900hrs, with expectation of duty cover thereafter if operational requirement dictates. Possible additional days if requirement dictates.
* Knowledge of Marine Logistics processes and operations.
* Liaising with on/offshore Marine Controllers, Drilling Materials Controllers, possessing an in-depth understanding of associated processes to ensure the safe, efficient and cost effective planning, scheduling and delivery of materials.
* Accustomed to working effectively in a fast paced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
* Customer focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
* Experience in logistics and shipping planning
* Solutions based, pro-active and motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
* Flexibility and a positive approach to change
* Highly numeric with a strong attention to detail and excellent planning & organising skills.
* Computer literate, well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite. SAP skills essential.
* Experience of WELS preferred, but training will be given if not held.
* Experience with LEAN preferred, but training will be given if not held.
* Experience with personnel logistics (aviation) preferred, but training will be given If not held.
