The Role:
Onshore Duties:
The Production Operations Onshore Support Technician reports directly to the Onshore Production Supervisor. He/She supports the onshore team with a joint priority to support the offshore operations and maintenance teams.

* Support the Offshore Operations & Maintenance Team in terms of administration workload.
* Active involvement in preparation and planning for shutdowns and any campaign work scopes.
* Plan the Maintenance management of assigned production (business) and safety critical maintenance.
* Quality assurance of operational plans, including capacity & WO's
* Continuously improve the Asset production performance
* Process isolation preparation, Plan and assist with the isolation/de-isolation, leak testing and safe return to service of plant
* Work Permit preparation
* Provide Operational input and experience to the Project team
* Participate in HAZOP/HAZID/RFSU (Ready for Start-up)
* Continuous focus on identifying and handling Risks concerning operation
* Participate in development of the maintenance programme, including spare parts review
* Help establish Operational Systems, Processes and Procedures for Process and Utility systems (System & Operating documents)
* Perform verifications of start-up procedures
* Help develop Integrated Operations systems
* Assist and work with specialised vendors onshore prior to going offshore
* Raise timely and accurate notifications and work orders, including close out with adequate and accurate history
* Assist with Process Engineer tasks as required
* Assist with Production Engineer tasks as required
* Contribute to POG (Production Optimisation Group)
* Develop working practices and procedures for operating the onshore control room
* Integration of the process simulator into start-up and normal operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Extensive operational experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Operations
* High focus on HSE, ethics and the Clients values
* HNC/ONC is preferable but not essential
* Control Room Operator Knowledge and experience
* Extensive knowledge of relevant UK Regulations related to Offshore Operations
* Possess the ability to handle responsibility and occasional high work-loads.
* Able to work within multidisciplinary teams and across organisational boundaries
* Delivers high quality work under tight deadlines
* Ability to seek creative win-win solutions
* Ability to develop trust, respect and team work within and outside own unit
* Good communication, interpersonal and cross cultural skills
* SAP Proficiency highly desirable
