The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant, required on a 12 month contract.

This position is responsible for providing professional, efficient administration support to the Australia Business Unit East in Brisbane - specifically the Supply Chain department.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Providing general administrative support to a department, group of professionals, or individual.
* Compiling and analysing basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
* Receiving and responding to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review.
* Work on generalised routine assignments that do not require a broad knowledge of the corporate organisation.
* Other duties typically include typing reports, correspondence, copy, answering the phone, and scheduling.
* Requires the ability to exercise independent judgement and employ basic reasoning skills.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in a similar role (within supply chain/ contracts environment preferred).
* Certificate in Administration preferred.
* Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
* Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
* Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.
* Performs varied and more complex tasks. Makes decisions within broad parameters.
* Highly proficient in MS office, Outlook and Excel.
* Strong exposure to SAP and data base administration.
* Proficient in managing SharePoint sites.
