The Role:
- Provide leadership and plans across all work sites to achieve zero employee and contractor injuries, zero environmental incidents and zero property losses to Company, Contractors and Sub-contractors during the performance of the project
- Effectively communicate to the project team that safety is a value and not a priority
- Provides assurance of implementation of Environmental Technical Note commitments
- Understand and manage risk regarding Personal Safety, Health, and Control of Work (CoW). Assist delivery teams in the implementation of Control of Work and other relevant HSE procedures.
- Application of company oversight over contractor self-verification
- Support Company HSSE TL in delivery of the Project Area Operating Plan and HSSE Plan.
- Accountable for measuring safety performance by monitoring safety data, maintaining safety statistics, and reviewing traction reports that occur on all projects work. Ensure that Contractor Reporting and Recording are compliant with client HSE Procedures.
- Provide HSE guidance to contractor field work processes, plans and requirements.
- Promote safety leadership on site and deliver an injury free project by leading and participating in the development of all related HSE plans in support of the operating management system.
- Support with HSE expertise and participate in all safety reviews and project assurance activities.
- Manage and ensure delivery of the project's HSE strategic elements in support of Company's OMS, the Project HSE plan and Pcp HSE requirements.
- Conduct and document field safety observations, audits, and inspections during project field activities and assist with resolution of findings and action items.
- Undertake offshore trips to project sites as and when required.
- Coordinate HSE efforts with other projects, functions, personnel, contractors, facilities as appropriate for simultaneous operations.
- Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions are investigated and reported, and corrective actions are promptly taken to prevent re occurrence of the same. Lead / participate in Incident Investigations when required
- Liaise with the other Function's HSE representatives and Contractors to provide professional support regarding their understanding and compliance with Company HSE expectations.

The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or OHS.
- 5-8 Years proven experience in HSSE with projects Management experience.
- Proficient HSSE experience in Oil and Gas, preferably both fabrication and offshore construction activities.
- Previous offshore experience on platforms / vessels
