The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
The primary purpose of the role is to provide Project Engineering Management for the SCV for the project subsea work scopes

* Flexibles / Umbilical's
* Spools & Jumpers (rigid/flexible)
* Structures and Foundations
* Diving and Remote Intervention
* Commissioning support
* Vessel load-outs & readiness

Responsible for delivering project/construction engineering to ensure subsea production system is installed in accordance with company Q&HSE expectations
Manage the interfaces to the installation contractor to ensure timely delivery and execution of procedures/processes in line with the approved schedule
Maintain the key processes to allow systematic management of the work including vessel pre-start up assurance process
Provide support and feed back to the Pipeline, Diving, and Commissioning installation engineering activities.

* Responsible for safe, efficient, and effective execution of project scope, in line with project goals and expectations, Promote strong HSE performance by company and Contractor teams and uphold the company Code of Conduct.
* Promote conformance to expectations and requirements of Safe Design and Quality Build within the company and Contractor teams.
* Locally facilitate company project controls processes, including Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, and Management of Change,
* Track and manage technical risks, drive integrity and reliability through company processes, Ensure installation and execution risks are identified
* Responsible for ensuring project lessons learned are captured and shared with the company, Ensuring that relevant company lessons are shared with the installation contractor
* Lead by providing direction, and support to the project engineering team and promote an effective and collaborative working environment . Deputise for others as required.
* Maintain effective training and development mentoring to support challenger and national staff.
* To execute the oversight activities identified in the company HSE plan

Management of Subsea Installation Scope:

* Company site team lead at Contractor facilities, acting as primary interface with Contractor execution leads/manager to drive resolution of project engineering and execution issues, maintain progress milestones, and address performance/quality issues.
* Support the installation engineering team via technical review of T&I and diving procedures, queries, deviations and supporting analysis / documentation in accordance with project specifications, standards, local regulations and legislation.
* Track installation readiness of equipment, documentation in-country and closure of actions via established operational readiness processes
* Coordination of installation assurance prior to campaign execution.
* Accountable for timely approval of queries and approval of contractor documents in-country. Managing and tracking scope progress including assessment of Contractor variations, invoices and deliverables.
* Attend subject matter weekly and monthly performance reviews with Installation Contractor.
* Support company integration across scopes with the various M&S Execution and Engineering Team engineers.
* Participate in the development of the project installation schedule, its interactions with other delivery teams and provide input to the execution strategy
* Develop a detailed knowledge of the contract, with respect to the assigned work scopes. Provide technical review and evaluation of VORs, contractor letters and RFA's. Provide input to the development of company letters and the management of change process including preparation of PACN's and the development and execution of MOC's
* Execute and maintain the risk assessment process including Risk Action Plan Development (RAPs) and level one risk assessments (HIRAs and HAZIDs) and track action items to closure in support of readiness

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Engineering degree (MSc. Civil Engineering or Mechanical) or other suitable academic qualification and extensive experience
* Installation engineering experience within major installation projects working for both Installation contractor and client - essential, non negotiable
* Minimum 7-10 years' experience of subsea engineering and installation.
* Proven capability of contractor management and execution of offshore construction activities in the areas identified
* Exhibits understanding of engineering and construction practices and the latest international standards that assure integrity of installation & execution quality.
* Proactively demonstrates sophisticated decision-making and leadership skills
* Ability to intervene in critical situations in order to redirect focus and achieve the required result.
* A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
* Financial and commercial awareness
* Self-motivated
* Computer literate
