The Role:
Initially 6/2 rotation in the UAE eventually transferring to Algeria on 4/4:

The Candidate is required to take full responsibility for all aspects of the Engineering and Procurement of the Pipelines discipline. This scope covers all the flowlines and trunk lines connecting the well sites to the main processing plant as well as the three Export pipelines (gas, LPG and Condensate). To achieve this the Candidate will be required to manage:

* All aspects of EPC Contractors engineering and Procurement activities within the Pipelines discipline.
* Provide engineering oversight, leadership and direction to contractors engineering team, as required.
* Coordinate the Pipelines deliverables review and ensure timely return of all reviewed deliverables to the EPC Contractor.
* Travel to fabrication mills for meetings, inspections and functional tests as required.
* Ensure EPC Contractor compliance with Company Technical Integrity and HSSE standards.
* Advise on the use of standards, practices and design guidelines.
* Ensure that the design meets the approved project specifications, industry standards and functional requirements including compliance with Company Project Principles, Engineering Technical Practices and associated guidelines.
* Ensure that a clear direction is set with respect to Project design, delivery of engineering, procurement and construction is in accordance with the project schedule.
* Provides technical and project support during construction and operation of facility

Specifically The Candidate shall have hands on experience in:

* Specifying Geotechnical and Geophysical Surveys
* Determining factors that influence route selection of pipelines
* Planning, review and follow up of pipeline purchasing , construction and commission
* Flow Assurance
* Crossing Design especially Escarpments (Failaise)
* In Addition the Candidate is required to be the technical Authority for:
* Processes for the welding in the production of Line pipe and their applicability
* International Pipeline Codes
* Pipeline Material Selection and Material Testing requirements
* Requirements for and design of Burial of pipelines
* Cathodic protection of pipelines
* Welding specifications for pipelines.
* Pipeline Coatings
* Pipeline Induction Bends
* Insulation Joints

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent
* Relevant 15 + years' experience as a Pipeline engineer, with knowledge on Gas, Condensate and LPG pipelines
* Experience generating specifications/drawings and requisitions..
* Proven previous experience with oil & gas industry and advanced knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, and other mechanical engineering related industry standards is preferred
