The Role:
* Ensuring compliance where appropriate with the Company's Policies and Procedures in accordance with the requirements of Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015, Occupational Health & Safety Standard OHSAS 18001:2007, the ISM Code 2010 and Environmental Standard ISO 14001:2015;
* Maintains a knowledge of and adheres to Company policies, procedures, guidelines and work requirements
* Assists to company's continued certification under ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 and other Standards where required
* Conducts regular site visits and implements QHSE audits and inspections across all departments, vessels and areas of operation as directed by the QHSE Manager
* Involves into Incident and Near Miss investigations as directed by QHSE Manager and ensuring that reporting requirements are met
* Ensures on a regular basis that all company vessels and areas of operation within the region operate in an environmentally friendly manner and effectively comply with all relevant International and Flag requirements
* Conducts QHSE presentations and training to company and contractor employees to ensure their understanding of the importance of company's fully integrated SEQMS requirements
* Gives assistance to the QHSE Manager with client's HSE requirements and assists in compliance
* Assist with developing HSE Plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local client requirements
* Assists with the collation of QHSE statistical data on a regular basis and interprets QHSE KPIs
* Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate location Emergency Response Plans and Systems as required
* Assists work site personnel and line management in development of work site QHSE promotions and campaigns
* Works closely with the Document Controller to ensure all relevant documents are processed and filed in line with relevant procedures
* Maintains a knowledge of regulatory agency, Company, client and subcontractor (where applicable) QHSE requirements
* Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the QHSE manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* University/College degree or diploma
* Previous experience in ER & Crisis Management and QHSE fields
* Highly responsible and able to handle confidential information
* Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* A strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
