The Role:

Travel both Domestic and International will be required.

Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum 10 years experience in fabrication and installation of Subsea equipment
Effective communication skills
Experienced auditor
Knowledge of AWS, ASME, API and associated specifications
Knowledge of Non-destructive testing methods

* Develop Project Quality Plan and work processes using the overall Project Quality Assurance Plan as a template and provides education into the use of construction quality tool kits to ensure commonality between sites.
* Ensures SQLs undergo orientation training prior to site assignment and have all necessary project documents, procedures, tool kits etc.
* Establish with the FQM, a Project readiness review of EPC Contractors Quality management systems and start up compliance to Contractual requirements.
* Liaison with the Procurement, Engineering, and PQAL where adverse quality trends require equipment and activity Criticality Ratings and Inspection Levels to be re-assessed for suppliers and manufacturers of equipment and materials. Notifies the FQM and engineering lead of any equipment/activity re-assignment requirements.
* Establish an early interface link with the Contractors assigned Quality Manager to identify any concerns, constraints or clarifications to the AMA1 Quality objectives and expectations.
* Input to any Non Conformances and associated Site Queries or Concession Requests that impact upon Quality.
* Review and input to Contractors materials/equipment RFQ and P.O's for compliance to Quality requirements.
* Attendance at kick off meetings with Sub-Contractors to ensure Quality objectives and expectations are addressed and clearly understood.
* Where necessary supports PQAL at kick off and pre-inspection meetings with Equipment Suppliers to ensure Quality objectives and expectations are addressed and clearly understood.
* Review of procurement expediting and inspection planning.
* Review and approval of Contractors Quality Auditing strategy and plan, and overview and attendance at key audits as an observer.
* Involvement in the review process for any Contractor proposed Sub- Contractors and Suppliers not on approved Bidders list.
* Review of Sub-Contractors and equipment/material Suppliers Quality Plans and Procedures for compliance to Contract requirements.
* Maintain close liaison with PA, CIC and Contractor procurement coordinators to organize discipline engineers and QC inspector attendance as specified within the Suppliers ITP.
* Review of Contractors equipment/material manufacturing field QC inspection and expediting reports. Address all reported Quality issues or deficiencies with Contractor and advises of any conflicts.
* Agree Contractors and Sub-Contractors Quality organizations, structure, proposed manpower resources and nominated personnel.
* Interview and selection of site Quality Leads (PQM involvement) and Sub-Project Quality personnel
* Ensure all Quality interfaces between Contractor and any Sub-Contractors / Suppliers are fully identified, documented, effectively coordinated and managed by Contractor.
* Provide real time information feedback to PQM and SPM on Quality issues and concerns
* Collect and collate Quality Metrics data from the Construction site SQL's and provide data as part of the weekly Quality progress report
* Ensure Contractor is recording and reporting Quality Metrics on a monthly basis.
* Assist development of reporting system Weekly/Monthly to PQM
* Maintain cost and manpower of quality services
* Report scheduling and issues to the project team
* Review and comment on technical specifications from EPCI & CPI Contractors
* Carry out surveillance of fabricator quality departments

* Provide weekly status report on Subsea related Quality issues
* Provide monthly status on NCR performance for subsea
* Surveillance report status on EPCI contractors and CPI vendor locations.
* Sub-contractor evaluation status
* Resource allocation status

* Minimum 15 years working with Subsea production and installation equipment
* Knowledge in applicable codes and standards for subsea fabrication
* Lead auditor qualifications
* Current or past certification in NDE processes
