The Role:
The Interface Coordinator is responsible to liaise with Interface Correspondents across all stakeholder entities (Mozambique LNG Downstream (including their main EPC Contractor CCSJV), Area 4 Operator, Cffshore EPC Contractor (MTV) as well as a suite of Company Provided Item Vendors and Suppliers. The Offshore Interface Coordinator shall define and implement adequate reporting of Interface status to Project Management as well as work to expedite and address interface issues with a pro-active and positive mindset to ensure closure in a timely manner. The job holder shall be capable to work at their own initiative as well as working in a cross-functional manner with the various stakeholders to achieve interface solutions which meet the requirements of the concerned entities without impacting the overall project delivery.
The job holder reports to the Offshore Delivery Manager and will ensure / handle, as required, the communication of the project with outside stakeholders on all matters related to Interface as so directed. The job holder is accountable for respecting HSE rules and requirements and for ensuring their application within his scope of responsibility.

EXPERIENCE
The candidate shall be familiar with all aspects of offshore and subsea projects particularly with respect to traditional interface definition and responsibilities, the candidate shall be:

- Knowledgeable in the definition, maintenance, and implementation of interface management policies, plans, procedures and requirements.
- Experienced in the management and delivery of offshore and subsea projects, particularly projects with subsea pipeline and subsea equipment components (integrated EPCI). Past experience in deep water and subsea to shore projects would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledgeable in subsea equipment design and control systems functionality.
- Familiar with Inco-Terms for materials and equipment shipment and delivery, past project experience in Africa or other remote or isolated jurisdictions would be an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in subsea equipment design and integration (trees, manifolds, subsea control systems) and their associated key interface challenges.
- Knowledge of drilling/subsea hardware interfaces including intervention and workover systems would be an advantage.
- Demonstrable track record as a problem solver with the ability to perceive and manage complex interfaces to achieve outcomes where various stakeholders are involved.
- Knowledge in pipeline system pre-commissioning and commissioning including for large diameter subsea gas networks would be an advantage.
- Able to direct and manage interface queries to third party specialists and work with them to find pragmatic solutions to engineering and interface challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To define, maintain, and implement (or ensure implementation of) Interface Management policies, plans, procedures and requirements for Project and Contractors, and ensure of the associated organization and means.
- To identify or have identified all interfaces resulting from the split of work packages and make sure the corresponding split of responsibilities is covered as necessary.
- To organize, control and follow up the implementation of the interface process with the different Package Interface Correspondents in order to timely get all deliverables issued by corresponding contractors and have all interfaces duly and timely closed out.
- To organise weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Package Interface Correspondents and corresponding Contractor's Interface Managers as and when appropriate.
- To ensure through Package Interface Correspondents that Contractors provide proper reporting of the progress of their interfaces activities.
- To identify and report to line management any issue/conflict including schedule between the different parties for further arbitration.
- To ensure timely identification of potential interface problems (organisation of regular Project Interface Meetings / Workshops).
- To establish a continuous follow-up of the construction and testing of Contractor/Company items, and ensure of their timely delivery and handover to the Interfacing party.


DISPOSITION & DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Strong track record in offshore and subsea project delivery with a minimum of 15 years direct experience of the same.
- Fluid communicator capable to represent the project in front of third parties and other stakeholders in a professional and organized manner
- A bachelor's degree or greater in engineering is required with a preference for mechanical or metallurgy engineering preferred.
- Desire to work offshore (marine spread) or at site as part of Company representation
