The Role:
To provide support and co-ordination to the Procurement function to ensure all processes are followed in an accurate and timely manner to meet the needs of the business.

*Provide full administrative support to the Procurement Team.
* Administer the data within material management module of SAP.
* Collate procurement reporting monthly, quarterly and annually.
* Manage the procurement email box to ensure effective use by all team members.
* Process goods and services requisitions within SAP, ensuring all data is correct at point of entry.
* Provide administrative support to the procurement function by updating data within the department databases and collating data as required.
* Coordinate the updating of procedures for the procurement team.
* Process all acknowledgements and refer queries to procurement specialists or end users.
* Manage all vendor requests including new, change and updates from suppliers in regard to business information and validation.
* Expedite purchase orders that are overdue on a weekly basis.
* Bring up outstanding actions with procurement specialist including but not limited to outstanding supplier complaints, vendor management, RFQ's.
* Resolve a variety of purchasing issues/problems for both internal and external customers (i.e., support invoice resolution to secure payment for vendors, provide expediting services as necessary, disputes for "out of scope" changes, etc).
* Support special projects in response to internal customer and management requests for one-of-a-kind projects (Government grants, purchasing projects, administration duties).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum GCSE level of education with NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent
