The Role:

Is your next career move to be part of our dedicated, problem solving, idea generating and delivering, engineering and maintenance team? As we continue to grow and expand, we are recruiting for the position of DCS Engineer.

You'll complete a range of hands on responsibilities to support our site in ensuring safety and availability of all DCS, Functional Safety, PI system historian plant systems to ensuring asset integrity and reliability is met, maintained and improved. Amongst other opportunities to contribute you'll also be:
*Ensuring compliance with codal and regulatory requirements.
*Completing programming, systems configuration and alarms management activities.
*Provide technical training and guidance.
*Developing and implementing procedures, instructions, standards and guidance documents enabling user operability and understanding, compliance, plant support, safety and security.

Minimum Requirements

*HNC in electrical, control or instrumentation engineering discipline. Or equivalent qualification.
*Relevant 24/7 process, chemical, energy or manufacturing industry experience, in DCS Systems and functional safety, to complete job role responsibilities.
*Operations interface and working with and to Operational policies & procedure.
*Legislative, best practice standards & insurance compliance in DCS systems & functional safety.
*Working cross functionally delivering policies, initiatives & compliance with company & legislative requirements.
*Honeywell Experian & HPM software including Fail Safe Controller (FSC)
*Appreciation of engineering standards and codes: IEC 61508/61511; Electricity At Work.
*Maintenance management systems.
*Management of Change processes.
*Microsoft Office packages: word & excel & email. Outlook.
