The Role:
We are looking for a Capital Cost Estimator to support the engineering team based in Stockton office (working from home). This position is a part-time contract role.

Responsibilities include;

* Developing capital cost estimates in line with AACE cost estimate framework for brownfield and greenfield projects, typically within the process industry. Scope includes the generation of Conceptual, FEED and EPC total investment cost estimates.
* Analysing scope, bills of quantities, enquiries and other project documentation in order to develop cost estimates.
* Be familiar with industry standard norms.
* Researching, sourcing and obtaining metrics from suppliers and subcontractors.
* Analysing data that can affect costs (such as currency exchange rates, location, project complexity and productivity rates).
* Assessing the financial, technical and operational risks of the projects.
* Visiting project sites to gather information.
* Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Working closely with key members of the engineering team and liaising with clients and suppliers.
* Keeping detailed records and writing reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant experience working in large engineering companies on multiple projects.
Competent in the use of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator software.
