The Role:
The Opportunity

Requirement for an experienced Planning Engineer/Scheduler to join the Outage Planning Team to work on the plant Turnaround scheduled for June 2019. The assignment is for an initial 2 month period. The role is based onshore in Teesside.

The Outage Planning Engineer/Scheduler is responsible for developing the project schedule for the 2019 Outage. This is a key role in the success of execution of maintenance, inspection, repair and modification scopes requiring the shutdown of process plant and systems as part of the overall Outage. Responsibilities include:


*Develop Level 4 execution plan logic
*Liaise with vendors and key contractors to define and confirm mobilisation details
*Liaise with operations personnel to ensure the schedule incorporates plant shutting down and start up activities
*Develop a manning histogram in alignment with available resources



Minimum Requirements:


*Experience of Outage/Project scheduling with time spent recently in a similar position
*Knowledge of process industry projects with significant experience of Plant Outages
*Good communicator to internal and external customers, needs to work with others within a small team
*HNC/D or OND with relevant planning and experience in the process industry sector
*Proficient in the use of Planning Software ideally MP would be beneficial
*Must be flexible and pro-active in approach to work within a small team
