The Role:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE

Delivery of safe site management and operational strategy issues at the Holbrook Biomass Plant (HBP) against the agreed operating plan and Company Operating Standards. Ensure communication and engagement with all client staff and stakeholders ensuring a common approach to maximising business performance and fulfilling customer requirements.

MAJOR DUTIES
Deliver plant operational & maintenance optimisation through maximising production & planning, delivering economical, safe, reliable ways to meet local demands & availability contractual obligations.
Work with the Site Director - Power as part of the site management committee and take responsibility for the development, management and performance of key client relationships and contacts.
Successfully lead, support & manage the site team in implementing the business goals and targets.
In line with company and client requirements, have overall responsibility for safe, effective plant & asset optimisation ensuring all SHE, legislative and business requirements are met, monitored, maintained and continually improved.
In line with company SHE standards, lead & manage all SHE reporting, systems and control requirements.
Lead & manage assigned personnel, taking overall responsibility for their supervision, development, welfare and overall effectiveness.
Develop, deliver and manage, plant financial and commercial requirements including planning, justification & control of the AOP, budget, commercial contracts and business plans.
Work with the Site Director - Power as part of the site management steering committee, ensuring effective and timely client relationships.
Develop, maintain and actively participate in civic, neighbourhood, industrial and government activities, promoting positive public and business relationships, and maximising opportunities for company.
Ensure the development, delivery & continual improvement of all plant operational and business support
procedures and systems, achieving required performance and statutory measures.
Support company corporate team to organise, prepare, negotiate, manage, oversee and evaluate site service agreements, ensuring they operate within agreed budgetary requirements, taking action to reduce costs and overall risk levels.
Work with your team to deliver all site outages and projects in a safe, timely and effective manner, ensuring deliverables are met, plant production and lost time are minimised.
Prepare & complete required business and statutory reporting and information management requirements.
As required, provide out of hours and emergency call out support.
Portray the role of Plant Manager in a positive, professional manner.
Be an active member of the company plant managers forum and share best practice with other Plant Managers
