The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to be responsible for the management of quality related activities related to company projects across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Project Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Promote and maintain positive relationships with Customers or Customer representatives, managing the customer Quality expectations across multiple sites Worldwide (travel to multiple sites necessary) and act as primary interface with customer relative to project quality matters Management of project quality reporting requirements to customer
* Responsible for training and Qualification of personnel involved in the project, such as Plant personnel, Suppliers, Sub-suppliers and Customer representatives
* Contract and Technical Specification Review at the tendering stage and during the project
* Interpretation and communication of applicable Industry Standards and Regulations and Country Specific legislative requirements such as API 6A, 16A, 16C, 17D / API Q1 / ISO 9001, ISO 3834-01, ASNT / ISO 9712…
* Development of System Project Criticality Assessment, Project Quality Procedures, Project Quality Plan (PQ) and the quality section within the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Provide input into the Management of Change (MOC) process and ensure all quality related opportunities/impacts are managed and recorded.
* Development and implementation of project system quality structure to support the scope of the project. Manage Project Quality related deliverables to ensure all contract requirements are met. Represent Quality in project risk assessments Ensure that all project related personnel have clear visibility of project quality specifications
* Organisation of verification requirements for system procurement and assure package quality compliance to execution phase requirements
* Participate in and lead the delivery of significant improvements in Quality and HSE performances

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Quality improvement skills (i.e. Six Sigma, Problem Solving)
* Quality improvement techniques (SPC, Lean Six Sigma, 5S, KAIZEN)
* Trained in Safety Management not limited to but including Risk Assessment / Near Miss Reporting / Accident Investigations
* Effective communication skills
* Presentation skills
* Experience of manufacturing processes
* Health and Safety to include risk assessment, reporting, investigation, COSHH
* Experienced and qualified in the use of all necessary N.D.E techniques and dimensional Verification processes
* Industry standards and associated legislation
* Proven organizational, managerial and leadership skills
* Ability to drive improvements in Plant Engineering Processes - Welding, PWHT, Hardness, Non-Destructive Examination, Pressure Testing, Coating/Plating, Painting, Dimensional Inspection
* Ability to Coordinate multi-site and multi-disciplinary teams
