The Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Services Engineer on a permanent contract, based in their Kewdale office. The position resides within the Aftermarket Engineering department in the Organisation. Reporting to the Subsea Services Engineering Manager, the role will provide technical support, guidance and engineering solutions with respect to Company products and services for the clients.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support for offshore/onshore service personnel and assistance with resolving FPRs, technical problems and troubleshooting field issues.
  • Liaise with global product groups, providing design feedback from offshore & workshop operations to improve product quality and operational reliability.
  • Conduct and attend product design reviews with Clients and Internal Product groups.
  • Monitor / Maintain resource plan to ensure effective execution of workload and achieve on- time delivery and allow cost monitoring/control.
  • Consult with and advise Manufacturing, Purchasing, Suppliers and Quality Departments with any technical queries.
  • Work closely with tendering team to identify equipment scope of supplies, for offshore, commission / installation activities. Support with Engineering CTR's as required.
  • Maintain rental equipment packages, and ensure tooling modifications are made in line with latest industry standards and practices.
  • Support purchasing department on technical procurement activities and disposition of material deviation request (NCR's).


The Senior Services Engineer will also:

  • Have the willingness to travel offshore to support commissioning and installation activities.
  • Attend client offices as requested and be involved in weekly client meetings/calls.
  • Provide 24/7 Technical support for offshore operations as required on a rota basis.


Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in a relevant engineering field.
  • Extensive experience in subsea equipment design and/or subsea services engineering.
  • Detailed technical understanding of Subsea Production Systems.
  • Knowledge of national and international codes and regulations for Subsea Production Systems.
  • Good working knowledge in AutoCAD, Inventor, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with SAP / product lifecycle management tools desirable.
  • Previous offshore experience desirable.
  • BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) beneficial.
  • CA-EBS Compressed Air Emergency Re-Breather System) beneficial.
