The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an onshore Mechanical Fitter/ Machinist based residential in Darwin working within our client's workshop.

The position requires someone who has extensive experience in all facets of flange management and in operation of machine shop equipment's including lathes, borers, milling machines.

It is a 12 months Fixed term contract to start with an on-going permanent opportunity for the successful candidate, offering standard 38-40 hours per week.

To be considered, you will meet the following mandatory requirements:
* Mechanical/ Machinist Trade Qualification
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
* OGUK/ UKOA medical
* Australian Working Rights

Successful candidate may also be required to complete pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol screening and national police checks to meet client requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Machinist or Fitter background
Mechanical trade qualification
Extensive machining and flange management experience
Onsite experience
Strong team player track record

Good computer skills
Excellent communication skills
