The Role:
The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of the Risk Management Plan and through the Project Team to help identify and maximise company's opportunities to improve margin and reduce risk. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support, plan, organise and help focus managers responsible for risk management for each work package
  • Ensure risk assessment workshops and reviews are held at package and Project levels and facilitating these workshops when required both during project tendering and execution
  • Incorporate Lessons Learned from previous projects to assure a complete risk profile is developed
  • Ensuring quantitative risk analysis is performed at package and project levels
  • Consolidating package reports into overall project risk models and reporting the analysis and summarisation of the results
  • Reporting the progress and effectiveness of the implementation of risk reduction actions to the project manager
  • Assembling the risk report for senior management and the Company
  • Training of managers and other personnel in both the appreciation of risk management techniques and "hands on" risk analysis techniques and methods
  • Arranging joint work sessions with the Company and its Contractors to identify and mitigate risks
  • Display the company values and behaviour and assure these are woven into your daily performance


The Company:
Our client is a global leader in engineering, design and manufacturing of pressure control and flow technologies for the oil and gas industry. Our client works on both onshore, offshore and subsea projects in some of the most remote locations in the world. Their interests in Australia are with offshore, onshore and subsea aspects on mega-LNG and oil projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • EPC Project management experience with working knowledge of offshore oil and gas deep-water
  • Experience in Risk Management for 3-5 years, preferably in the oil and has industry
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Concepts desired
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office systems, with emphasis on Excel and database knowledge
  • Capacity to successfully execute use of prescribed PRM tool set
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
