The Role:
We are looking for a Field Service Specialist to join a leading Oil & Gas service provider here in Western Australia. This role will report into the senior asset manager and will be responsible for providing support to the project operations manager and client team for key assignments across their active project portfolio
The main key focus for this role is to provide field level technical leadership, you must be capable of leading an offshore team ensuring a full understanding of the client's drivers.

Key responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

* To coordinate the planning and mobilisation of all offshore materials, tools, operational spares, people and equipment required for aftermarket offshore campaigns in support of the Project operations Manager or Client Rep.
* Ownership of all rental and client equipment used in the above activities, ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order from point of receipt on the rig until return to the companies point of departure.
* Maintain and update relevant operational documentation in support of offshore activities.
* Document non-conformances in the field via the Field Performance Reporting (FPR) system.
* Single point of contact for offshore technical queries
* Provide input into operational procedures.
* Leading the assigned Service team, the Field Service Specialist will motivate, take accountability for actions taken and develop a team working approach.
* Provide maintenance reports and spares usage of rental equipment
* Manage operational spares usage & initiate re-ordering where applicable (Min/Max Levels)
* Provide reporting information for both internal and external use (customer specific reports) on a weekly / monthly basis.
* Understanding of client drivers and translation of these to the field team along with operator experience is an advantage
* This role would involve onshore and offshore work, when required to work offshore it would be as a lead role
* Ensure Health, Safety, Security & Environmental procedures are adhered to.
* Additional responsibilities as identified by the Senior Asset Manager as business needs dictate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree qualified or equivalent 10+ years experience in an operational role
* Operator exposure ideally, along with working offshore project experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
* Problem solving ability.
* Leadership skills to include ability to motivate colleagues
* PC skills to include, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SAP knowledge preferable.
* Have the initiative & ability to work by themselves and as part of a team.
