The Role:
Our client is a leading provider of engineering services to the oil & gas industry, providing full cycle support services to both onshore and offshore facilities.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant for 6 months contractor role in Kewdale. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for general warehouse duties and Inventory. This position is also responsible for safe working practices and the posting of Safety observation/intervention reports and Risk Intervention Reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Pick and pack materials
* Goods/In out
* Daily Cycle Counting.
* Safe use of forklift and other lifting equipment.
* Take an active role in the safe conduct of business within and without the facility, and actively promote a safe working culture in accordance with company's values.
* Keep warehouse neat and tidy by performing regular cleaning duties.
* Help with the management of Rental Fixed Assets and their movements physically and transactionally with SAP
* Any other general or specific warehouse duties as required by the Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor.
* Assist with the extension and maintenance of material masters

To be successful in this position you will possess:

* At least 3 years warehousing experience.
* Experienced in using Inventory and Warehouse software's, preferably SAP
* Minimum Qualifications of Grade 10 or equivalent
* Must hold a valid High Risk Work Licence for Class "LF" - Forklift Truck and Driver's Licence
* 2 work references from within the last 6 -12 months
