The Role:
MAIN FUNCTIONS Value Chain Decision Support Engineers contributing to all stages of
asset development and operation, inclusive of support to technology commercialization.
Comprehensive daily system optimization of all production facilities, especially as regards to
gas offtake management. Drive delivery of the stated agenda: Safe and efficient production
delivery from the proved developed reserve base. Provide expert optimization of all
production and injection systems throughout projects. Identify and help to deliver plans for
safe and efficient debottlenecking activities. Support a healthy options hopper to underpin
efficient impact-reducing and optimization opportunities. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In
addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3: * Recognize the HSE impact of
all work; communicate as appropriate to possible stakeholders * Ensure all shutdown plans
and unplanned partial operation modes are evaluated for potential hazards Technical *
Maximize utilization of all facilities and production & injection systems to deliver SPU
production target. * Deeply understand surface system performance and connections, and
support surface system optimization modeling efforts. * Work closely with Maintenance and
Planning to optimize the Production Impact Maintenance Plan, in order to minimize
production impacts incurred as the result of planned & emergent maintenance activities. *
Understand, report, and minimize production and injection impacts , including deferred
production from shut in wells, pressure restrictions and bottlenecks * Understand reservoir
impacts from non-optimal injection, conformance issues, etc., and deliver impact-reducing
proposals & activities

Part Time - 3 days on / 4 days off- Days On:3, Days Off:4

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
20+ years' of closely related
professional experience * Bachelor's degree in Engineering within discipline * Extensive
knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety
criteria * Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in
priorities * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs * Read, write, and speak
fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications * Proficient
in functional skills relevant to current work assignment in the planning, derived modeling,
model validation, and scheduling or logistics technology areas

Expert in the use of the PRO/II process simulation tool; strong knowledge of steam cracking
olefin generation and recovery technology and optimization thereof; English
