The Role:
Job Summary:
The Contracts Analyst is a key member of the Contracts Management team, who under the supervision of the Contracts Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management of Client or Supplier contracts and for the ongoing support during the whole life-cycle of Contracts from inception to signature, through its maturity and eventually archiving, at a certain assigned location/Product Line/category (depending on assignment).

The Contracts Analyst, position is a key development assignment that should lead to further responsibilities and autonomy within the Contracts Function.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Depending on assignment:
* Reviews, proposes revisions, negotiates and drafts Supplier Contracts whenever necessary.
* Supports the Contracts Manager or in the drafting and development of Supplier agreements under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.
* Reviews, negotiates and drafts Contracts with Clients for the provision of Client products and/or Services.
* Drafts and communicates exceptions to tender documents and RFQs under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.
* Monitors Purchase Orders to ensure compliance with Client Policies and highlights and reports any deviations from our Client Contracts Risk Standard.
* Administers Contracts and ensures compliance with administrative procedures.
* Promotes compliance with the relevant Contracts procedures.
* Ensures compliance with Client policies, standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
* Uploads and ensures the relevant contracts database is properly updated as contract changes and events occur.
* Manages and administers contract-related records in the relevant Contracts database such as ASL or CRM.
* Identifies and proposes improvements to existing contracting procedures.
* Generates contracts reports on a regular basis to properly monitor active and expiring contracts.
* Responsible for the maintenance of Contracts and tenders files.
* Participates in presentations and workshops related to contracting standards, processes and/or reviews.
* Collaborates with the Legal Department, as appropriate to ensure contractual risks are clearly identified and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
* Assists and supports the Contract Manager and actively participates in all aspects of Post Award Contract Management including (but not limited to) Post Award Contract Reviews (PACR), Mid Term Contract Reviews (MTCR) & CCMS Self-Assessments including follow up of action items of RWPs (in Quest or otherwise).

Previous Experience and Competencies:
Education:
* Degree in Law, Finance, Contracts Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent discipline.
* Paralegal training or certification, as appropriate.

Previous Experience and Competencies:
* Minimum 3 years work experience ideally in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year experience in a role within the Contracts, Marketing or Legal Departments and a Law Firm.
* High level of collaboration with others. Good communication skill, both oral and written.
* Must have strong ethics in dealings with sensitive information.
* Ability to demonstrate principled leadership with sound business ethics and consistency with principles, values, and behavior.
