Hours of Work:
* Shift Work - Various Shifts - 7 days per week/24 hours per day
* Domestic travel will be required
* Overtime may be required. The Inventory & Logistics Supervisor must approve all overtime prior to it being worked
* Three (3) or more years in a manufacturing environment
* Forklift operator certification
* Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset

* Solid organization, time-management, and multi-tasking skills

Job Description:
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Strong understanding of document control and be able to accurately handle paperwork and enter data and information into the company ERP system
* Reading text, document use, numeracy, problem solving, critical thinking, significant use of memory
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Strong knowledge and understanding of receiving timelines, demands of a high volume manufacturing facility, plant operations, and production processes
* Must be able to lift up to, push, or pull 50 lbs and in excess of 200 lbs on wheels or using a forklift
* Must be able to stand and walk approximately 75% of the time and sit the remaining 25%
* Knowledge and understanding of safe lifting and handling techniques and procedures
* Track and organize outgoing and incoming materials in an electronic log;
* Identify customer supplied materials and ensure it is separated from company owned
* materials
* Monitor material returns and ensure all appropriate documentation has been
* completed
* Visually inspect incoming materials for damage prior to receiving
* Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items
* Records and checks quantity of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and
* specifications
* Inspect, accept, or reject goods received
* Unload, sort, and load materials applying proper handling processes and procedures
* to minimize materials damage
* Ensure consistent application of company shipping and receiving policies, processes,
* and procedures
* Complete all associated paperwork/administrative duties including, but not limited to,
* signing shipping & receiving documents, transferring the signed documentation to the
* appropriate individual(s), and verifying purchase return orders if product is being
* returned
* Maintain a clean, safe, orderly and effective working environment and keep the shop
* organized and free of unnecessary obstructions
* Any other tasks and duties as assigned

Specific Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
* Lift and move heavy items/packages as required
* Arrange for carrier vehicles by means of knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
* Document preparation and receipt authentication, which includes bills of lading, packing lists, crating lists, manifests, invoices, or other records. This process must be carried out in accordance with company policy
* Correspondence with suppliers including shipment set-ups, delivery instructions, and estimated delivery expectations
* Record shortages and eliminate damaged merchandise
* Route product/materials to departments
* Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers or pallets
* Verify shipment charges
* Maintain and organize files of shipping records
* Trace missing or lost shipments
* Verify the quantity of materials being shipped or received
* Be customer and supplier oriented on the phone and in person
