The Role:
Purpose of the job

Responsible for assisting the Project System Integration Manager in Rail Systems/Civil interfaces engineering. Responsibilities include the preparation of Monorail guidebeam/walkway related requirements, Rail Systems wayside related requirements, including Passengers Station and Depot, and liaison with design and construction team for access/handover definition and control vis-à-vis the Civil contractors.

Key responsibilities
* Coordinate with civil Contractor Design and installation teams and Rail Systems sub-activities departments throughout the delivery phase of the project to define and finalize interfaces between Civil and Rail Systems activities.
* Prepare and write technical documents defining Rail Systems requirements and criteria to enable civil partner to prepare and finalize their design throughout the design phase of the project.
* This includes the maintenance of D/CIM (Design and Construction Interface Manual) produced already during the bid phase, attend interface/integration meetings, and coordination with BT engineering departments (sig, coms, power, rolling stock, PSDs) to coordinate the production of specific ICD (Interface Control Documents).
* During Design phase of the project, review Design packages from Civil contractor which are interfacing with Bombardier scope of work, and assess compliance against DCIM/ BT Requirements.
* Consolidate comments, and attend actively Interface Workshop with civil contractors to address comments, negotiate and approve design solution from civil as required.
* Active liaison with BT Installation and Quality team, and with civil partner to support the access/handover process between BT and Civil, during installation phase.
* Consolidate access/handover criteria for Bombardier based on design and installation requirements.
* Liaise with other groups involved in design, production, procurement, test to facilitate finalization of system design.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
Education
*Degree or Master Civil Engineering

Relevant experience required
* Railway Project experience
* Experience working in Asia (minimum 2 years, Thailand is a plus)
* Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role
* Civil Building Services
* Autocad / BIM knowledge
* The candidate shall be able to understand the major civil constraints for following works : passenger station buildings, Depot building, foundation works, pre-stressed concrete
* The candidate shall be high skill communication, to interact with different stakeholders internal and external, and shall be able to speak up on technical aspects during meetings with internal Bombardier teams, and external civil contractors.
