The Role:
My client is looking for a HR Officer to cover maternity leave for up to 9 months and to support the main HR function in Nottingham

The position is based in a busy office with a shop floor/warehouse, and as the sole representative for up to 3 days on site the HR Officer needs to be able to provide basic advice as well as support from the paperwork side

The ideal candidate -
Must have a manufacturing background
Have experience dealing with disciplinary procedures and grievances
Must be able to navigate HR systems, ideally SAP but not essential

There may be occasional travel to Nottingham, and there will be a more senior HR representative on site with you 2/3 days a week

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Ability to work on your own
Interacts well at all levels
Experience with Disciplinary and Grievance procedures
