The Role:

  • To provide New Product Introduction Project Management Support, Analytical and Product related database support both of Regional and Local team in the implementation of product changes across Asia Pacific, And in providing product related Master data to support any Analytical / RFQ tendering information requirement.

Key accountabilities

  • This role reports to the Regional NPI & Life Cycle Manager and general support as following:
  • Provides insight to how to improve the quality and robustness of the NPI and LC process through analysis.
  • Preparation of material necessary for a successful Product Management Review and Regional Supply Review.
  • Provides general analytical support to the NPI and LC Planners.
  • Reports on the progress of Streamline/ODIMS requests to change the supply chain product catalogue to ensure changes made on time.
  • Provides demand and inventory status reports for product phase in and phase out plans.
  • Coordinates data collection (e.g. product costs) in support of business tenders.
  • Development and maintenance of the team's NPI & LC continuous improvement action plans.
  • Project NPI project management support for Low > Medium Complexity Projects to both regional and countries teams.
  • Maintenance and centralization of all regional planning data (volume and cost) to improve visibility and provide the team with effective decision making tools. Aim to optimize Tendering Process Cycle Time.
  • Responsible for all cancel product/SKU requests and assessing the impact on the plants and warehouses, establishing potential issues and identifying solutions to minimize the write off through obsolescence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply chain / Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years' experience on Supply chain management e.g. Project Management Commercial Acumen, Aggregate Planning ,NPI and Product Life Cycle Planning ,Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP),Inventory Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Planning Systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of New Product Introduction and Lifecycle project and program management and a good understanding of its importance to the business.
  • Highly analytical, numerate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy including advanced knowledge of Excel spread sheets and business reporting tools (e.g. MI/SAP Business Objects).
  • Proven experience in marketing, SC planning or logistics, customer service experience an advantage.
  • Supply Planning Accreditation (APICS or similar) preferred.
