The Role:
Summary of basic function :
* This position will be responsible for leading and managing sales team and channel partners within the assigned geography to achieve and exceed organizational goals including sales target achievement. This position reports into the Country Manager

Responsibilities include:
* Guide team members and set detailed account-wise plans to achieve organization's sales and profitability results
* Enable team members to achieve their own goals and team goals aligned with organization's must-wins
* Develop, maintain and strengthen long term favorable customer relationships with various stakeholders in important accounts
* Manage directly and in-directly through team members distributors serving accounts in the assigned territory to achieve organization's goals in competitive and compliant manner
* Facilitate best practice sharing and continuous learning within the team
* Mentor team members for achieving desired results within given resources
* Develop the team members to be able to manage higher responsibilities
* Develop/implement efficient distribution network for assigned geography and accounts
* Ensure distributor performance is compliant and as per agreed guidelines
* Collect various data reports (secondary, inventory etc.) from channel partners as required by the organization
* Develop sales plan with Channel management and collaborate with them to achieve organization goals
* Be the "face of the company" for customers by providing regular communication, addressing concerns, registering complaints, and leveraging opportunities to deliver customer satisfaction
* Work in compliant and ethical manner; always adhere to company policies & local regulations
* Gather various sales and market data and share within the organization at set frequency
* Continuously improve product knowledge and selling related skills, to provide better value add to customers that differentiates Cardinal from competitors
* Team work to achieve individual and team's goals - work with internal and external partners - to be able to serve customers' needs
* Share best practices within the organization and participate in organizational activities
* Manage samples and sales related expenses within the agreed forecast and/or guidelines
* Results Focus & Persistent Initiative: delivers results through adoption of flexibility, innovation and creativity, anticipates opportunities and obstacles and manages change appropriately, actively problem solving and negotiating
* Customer Focus: builds value-added relationships by focusing on customers' needs

* Clinical & Technical excellence: demonstrates product and clinical expertise

* Integrity and Ethics: works in line with company values and ethics
* Personal Resilience and Management of Change: the ability to accept and manage change, work with ambiguity and complexity

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant Healthcare sales experience (medical devices / specialized pharma) working across various stakeholders (clinicians, hospital administrators, procurement teams etc.)
* People management experience of at least a year
* Experience in selling Orthopedic and General Surgery medical device is a plus
* The candidate should have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to handle communication across levels of various internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to learn quickly and work in dynamic work environment while taking ownership
* Ability to be flexible and versatile in handling relevant mandates as assigned by the organization
* Results focused - deliver results by adopting flexible, innovative, and compliant approach
