The Role:
Role Purpose
- Accountable for technical integrity of the well, accuracy and completeness of reports and company property. Accountable for planning and executing all aspects of the drilling programs, cost control, HSSE performance and contracts management. Operations are performed according to issued and completion programs, in compliance with government regulations and in accordance with MDC oil & Gas (SK320) Ltd's and PETRONAS PPGUA 4 Standards.

Accountabilities
-Ensure instructions for Drilling, Completions and Logistics activities are given on a daily basis and to monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled, efficient and safe manner
-Conducts DWOP, Pre-spud and Completion Meetings - offshore drillings and completion programs are concluded in a safe efficient and cost effective manner expectations.
-Reports to Drilling Operations Team Lead on all issues problems and progress in order to keep management informed and facilitate decision making.
-All department reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet company policies and requirements
-Oversee and ensure the drilling operations are in line with the programs provided by MDC in order to ensure drilling carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
-Tracks and ensure accuracy of Time-Depth curve and well costs

Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Engineering or other relevant engineering degree with a drilling background
-Valid IWCF Level 4 combined well control certification, BOSIET and TSBB certifications
-Min 15 years of offshore drilling experience as Drilling Superintendent/Sr Drilling Supervisor on Jack-up, Semi-submersible and tender assist drilling rigs in the oil & gas industry.
-Extensive PMCD experience and min 8 years
-Min 5 years offshore drilling experiences in SEA with at least 3 years working experience in Malaysia,
-HPHT/MPD drilling experience would be and added advantage
-Good communication skills
- planning and organizing skills
