The Role:
- This position will be at downtown Houston. This person, if the right fit could be hired full time.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

5 years of relevant work experience in Risk Management, including corporate Risk Management, broking, claims or underwriting.

With oversight from the Risk Manager, the Risk Management Consultant has responsibility for the daily oversight and administration of insurance claims, including operational property, construction, workers' compensation, auto liability and other claims as identified by the Risk Manager. The Risk Management Consultant will also support insurance renewals and placements, budgeting and allocation, and works with all departments at headquarters and in the field to attain information needed and responds to their inquiries. The Risk Management Consultant assists in the identification, evaluation, and administration of risk management across the organization. The Risk Management Consultant position is a temporary contractor position, with the possibility of converting to a permanent employee position over the next 6-12 months.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Gathers, analyzes, manages and disseminates claims information (Corporate insurance claims including but not limited to workers? compensation, auto liability, and property) including the analysis of loss trends, and other general support, including regular reporting and notification to the VP, Risk and Compliance, Risk Manager, insurance brokers and/or carriers
* Coordinates with the Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Legal and any other pertinent departments regarding risk management matters
* Analyzes premium invoices and insurance documentation for accuracy and allocation of insurance costs and responds to internal and external requests regarding insurance, including the review of and contract language to ensure proper risk management has been considered and compliance where required
* Assists in reviewing insurance policy wordings to ensure required and appropriate coverage is obtained
* Assists with the monitoring and administration of the insurance program budget
* Works with Risk Manager to assure compliance with contractual provisions related to insurance, estimated maximum loss studies, schedules of insurance, input for reports and other required information for financial institutions, customers, lessors and insurers as required
* Coordinates incident reporting to carriers and brokers on incidents that may arise to a claim
* Liaises with insurance engineers, surveyors, loss adjusters, Company contractors and project managers as required for managing Company's various insurance policies and any potential claims
* Works in conjunction with the Risk Manager, Risk Analyst and VP, Risk and Compliance, to meet with and present to insurers and brokers as necessary to coordinate Company's risk management needs, including policy placements, claims, tours and surveys, and continuing education
* Assists in coordinating site tours, engineering audits, risk surveys, and loss adjuster inspections
* Assists the Risk Manager in conducting risk identification and risk assessment to identify and provide proper risk transfer and other possible financial protection measures
* Support Risk Department as needed with other responsibilities and tasks.

* Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
* Expert user of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of the LNG industry and related fields
* Efficiency in project and time management with a collaborative and open style
* Exhibits self-sufficiency and commitment to quality
