The Role:
We are seeking 6 x Commercial Leads and 2 x Commercial Assistants to work on a permanent basis for an international construction company working on the £18bn EDF Hinkley Point C project.

The roles are permanent positions based near Bridgwater, Somerset. The company has a flat structure, positive values, good salaries, strong reputation and major international projects across multiple industries. Hinkley Point C is one of Europe's largest construction projects and will help deliver 7% of the UK's electricity demand. This is a unique chance to get involved without needing prior nuclear experience.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Commercial Lead:

* Member of the RICS / CICES / IOB or equivalent professional body
* Educated to degree level
* Effective commercial / contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
* Able to demonstrate a considerable track record of administering successful contracts.
* Highly developed commercial skills and demonstrable ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value.
* Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management.
* Experience with most common Forms of Contract (NEC & FIDIC) within the power construction industry and major projects and programme environment; with particular knowledge of UK Law and its impact upon the contract and commercial function

Commercial Assistant:


* Good working knowledge contracts, basic estimating, valuations, cost reporting and financial modelling.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Familiar with the nuclear site licence conditions and the nuclear baseline philosophy.
* Good understanding of the UK regulatory framework.
