The Role:
The role is an urgent permanent position based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The company has a flat structure, positive values, good salaries, strong reputation and major international projects across multiple industries. Hinkley Point C is one of Europe's largest construction projects and will help deliver 7% of the UK's electricity demand. This is a unique chance to get involved without needing prior nuclear experience.

Overview
The HPC Project will procure in the regions of £7bn of equipment and materials, with NNB procuring £3.5bn and free-issuing to installers, and Contractor Partners directly procuring the remainder under their contracts.

The project is constrained with a DCO enforced cap on deliveries, site spatial constraints, manufacturers lead times and factory capacities and the potential for schedule changes and delays.

Strategic reviews are required on certain categories of inventory based on data analysis including impact assessments.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Strategic Inventory Planning, formulating and implementing Stock Policies within a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of implementing demand lead materials forecasting and planning systems (e.g MRP Systems).
  • Excellent data modelling skills using MS Excel.
  • Practitioner of Lean Construction or Manufacturing.
  • Experience of leading Formal Problem Solving groups.
