Delivery Manager

The Role:
* Managing the delivery of assigned Projects (e.g. DS3 FWKO Project) as required, across multiple Suppliers and Contractors, in accordance with the Contract, project schedule and budget.
* Assist with the preparation of the overall project plan & execution strategies.
* Manage the approved plan to achieve project deliverables and timeline objectives including set up of the organisation, schedule development, procurement and execution strategy.
* Set-up specific plans for HSE, quality and cost control. Champion HSE values at all times.
* Ensure Contracting Entities deliver the project within the agreed schedule and budget through regular meetings, and monitor performance and expenditure.
* Liaising on a regular basis with the General Engineering Contractor's (GEC) package engineers to ensure Engineering and equipment is supplied in a timely manner.
* Liaising on day to day basis with the General Construction Management Contractor (GCMC) to ensure Construction is managed in a safe and timely manner.
* Fostering good relations with both the GEC & GCMC to ensuring technical issues are resolved.
* Regularly liaising with project controls team in order to maintain robust integrated schedule.
* Coordinating with all key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the project.
* Liaising with Site Operations on a daily basis to manage Projects works executed within live plant
* Manage construction, budget, schedule and HSE risks
* Leadership and participation in Site toolbox talks and Safety stand-downs with Contractors
* Provide day-to-day-field management, motivation and leadership of Site Projects teams

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 15 years' experience working in the oil & gas industry, including at least 5 years' experience in a (Client) management capacity.
* Experience of working in a leadership role.
* Previous experience working within in an Engineering and Construction Environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; cultural awareness, positive attitude, commitment, initiative, team player, adaptability, oral & written communication, drive and energy.
* Proven track record for delivery on challenging projects, involving complex organisational interfaces.
* Act with integrity in all aspects of the job.
* Self-starter; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Previous brownfield project experience is preferred.
* Demonstrating a pragmatic and risk based approach to solving interface and integration issues.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
* Professional or Chartered Engineer with an industry recognised/accredited professional organisation
