The Role:
Role Synopsis
The TAR Lead reports to the TAR Manager for delivery of all TARs & Interventions assigned to them. For management of multiple TARs & Interventions there may be additional SPA's reporting to the role. This role identifies and directs the resources and processes required to manage successful delivery of a TAR, including any related projects, to meet business objectives.

The role is responsible for delivery of the TAR program within the sanctioned work plan. The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
* TAR Leader shall be Responsible for:
o Safely delivering the TAR in line with business objectives
o Leading the TAR team and mentoring local national's
o Planning and executing the TAR successfully.
o Ensuring facilities engineering, construction, maintenance inspection, HSSE and operations contribute to the TAR plan.
o Defining logistics and material coordination for TAR.
o Delivering progress against all preparation and milestone plans throughout all CVP TAR stages.
o Utilizing operations input and resources.
o Approving TAR scope of work, securing agreement of the Operations managers.
o Authorizing changes to scope of work.
o Providing links between integrated TAR team and Gatekeeper and TAR Manager
o Develop DSP to gatekeeper, presenting case to TAR Gatekeeper enabling a decision about proceeding to the next stage.
o Acting as liaison with operations, maintenance, inspection, and engineering personnel to define TAR scope of work.
o Delivering of scope of work to the TAR Manager.
o Providing input to planning for construction of the execution schedule.
o Managing onsite resources to meet TAR schedule.
o Directing work of discipline coordinators as required.
o Securing input of appropriate subject experts in engineering and construction.
o MOC management and readiness for TAR delivery
o Provide accurate cost and schedule estimates for all approved work scopes
o Facilitate & present progress to the TAR Steering Committee meetings.
o Reporting on TAR KPI's
o Input into development of the five (5) year TAR Strategy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline is preferred but a HNC/ HND and/ or a proven track record may be acceptable.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Significant TAR or project delivery experience is required as well as a track record of successfully delivering turnarounds or projects in a managerial/ leadership capacity.
* The ability to lead the TAR team to meet TAR deliverables on time and to budget.
* Ability to report upwards in a timely and concise manner
* Middle East experience desirable
