The Role:
Accountability for the support of Environment & Health, Safety (EHS) in the Baku office and at customer sites.
Responsible for overall EHS issues and internal audits within Azerbaijan;
Responsible for office EHS, including fire drills, risk assessments and medical training required;
To support company attending in meetings with customer (weekly, bi-weekly and upon request);
Maintain and improve regional compliance to the EHS Management system policies and procedures;
Lead EHS reporting and performance monitoring, including trend analysis and the preparation of reports, and the development of improvement programs to address any issues identified.
Undertake incident investigations and compile reports, support the investigation processes across the organization.
Develop and Maintain EHS audits/inspections schedule, perform the audits and site visits and support the closure of any non-conformances raised.
Develop and support effective risk management program (risk assessments, self verification programs etc.).
Provide professional advice and consultancy in health, safety and environmental management.
Identify EHS training needs for all employees and ensure compliance within the region. Lead and coach the Regional team in EHS culture and awareness. Lead Process Excellence Improvement Journey for the Region.
To ensure that outsourced and 3rd party subcontracting personnel comply with company EHS policies and procedures.
In liaison with relevant landlord(s) (office, warehouse, car rent and drinking water suppliers), to ensure the EHS standards maintained and met for company personnel

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in the oil and gas or power generation industries, NEBOSH qualification is mandatory.
A good command of the English language; both written and oral communication is essential.
Excellent communicator both verbally and written at all levels, internally and externally.
Ability to travel internationally and domestically on extended field assignments.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must.
Attention to details, and high quality standards.
