The Role:
Principal Accountabilities:

Designs, develops and manages customer projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for economic results.

* Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Key Account Manager.
* Clarifies customers´ targets and requirements, and/or specification in request for proposal (RFP).
* Prepares participation in tender, and leads negotiation with customers.
* Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.
* Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with all relevant stakeholders.
* Monitors milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
* Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.
* May coordinate agreed commissioning measures onsite, together with Site Engineering Management.
* Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).
* Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff. (This includes FSR resources training and development support and coordination).
* In-country Travel Security support.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Achieved academic qualification in relevant Engineering discipline.
* Proficiency with automation, electrical/controls systems and ideally experienced within the Rotating equipment / Oil and Gas / Power Generation industry.
* Proven technical and analytical capability.
* Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role.
* Thoroughly PC and IT literate.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact at a reasonably high level.
* Fluent in written and spoken Azeri, English and Russian.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills with a commitment to meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
* Ability to prioritise key activities in accordance with established timelines and technical scope.
* Demonstrate initiative and work with minimum direction.
* Demonstrated drive for results.
* Adaptable and responsive to change.
* Must be willing travel on a regular basis and work extended hours to meet customer requirements.
