The Role:

The Data & Document Control Lead will:
* Ensure Contractor(s) adherence to Company defined Specifications and Procedures (timely delivery, quality assurance, Company reviews); updating as required based on agreed Contractor(s) clarifications
* Support the project teams and the corporate Venture in the delivery of Company internal information including building capability through extended IM roles (e.g. Records Focal Points)
* Lead, define, implement and ensure adherence to, Company Data and Document procedures for ongoing transmittal, progressive data and document quality control, correspondence, and archiving procedures
* Comply with the Company Records Management for Controlled and non-Controlled documents and data
* Enable project delivery through:
o Create and maintain document distribution matrix on behalf of Project team
o Support IM in the overall management of Company's Management Document and Tag register
o Ensure alignment of ongoing deliveries as per the Master Delivery Registry(s) and Project Lifecycle Information Plan
o Liaise with project teams to establish, prepare, issue, and oversee scheduled Project IM reports (status, progress, and forecast) as part of standard Project KPI functions to drive Company team performance
* Establish and oversee the Data/Document Team management of team working areas, controlled/uncontrolled documents, informal sharing, and extranet sharing
* Build, lead, and optimize virtual Data/Document control capabilities and services for client's use
* Drive improvements within Data/Document Control and broader IM scope through leadership, standards, behaviors, and innovation using LNG Canada IM solutions (SPO/SPF/SharePoint, etc.)
* Implement solutions that educate and encourage internal and external stakeholders to become more collaborative and contribute to increased value
* Support delivery strategy to next project phase / Operations.
* Supervise, and work as part of the team, project data & document controllers across multiple locations around the World (team size ~10 including remote high value locations)
* Optimize and simplify data & document control activities and services across the Venture, multiple locations, and multiple projects within the Company
* Working and communicating effectively in a highly virtualized environment in a geographically diverse and multicultural team
* Ensuring that various disciplines on the Capital Project follow the specifications and the standards
* Ability to work in a fast moving, rapidly changing and dynamic environment of a mega flagship Capital Project
* Help champion the successful use of client's novelties (SPO/ SPF/Brava) to help realize simplification and business benefits related to effective and efficient data & document management and control

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical and Business Skills:
* Substantial experience as a Data and /or Document Management Lead in Capital Projects; previous experience in both Document & Data Management is preferred
* Experience working with Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) systems
* Experience working with SmartPlant Foundation as a document and/or data management tool
* Working experience with Data, Document, and Correspondence tools (SPO/SPF, SharePoint, Procon, etc.)
* Breadth and depth of knowledge of cross-discipline engineering documents (requirements and use) and discipline approval processes within project teams
* Knowledge of Records Management principles and implementation methods
* Strong Computer skills with skill level experience in using Company standard document control and document management systems and using (at least some of) project reporting software such as PowerBI, Crystal, Business Objects, MS Access, and Excel is essential
* Good working knowledge of the Project Data Control
