The Role:
Duties and Responsibilities
*Will participate in all aspects of Compression/ rotating machinery and reliability from initial feasibility and conceptual studies, through detailed engineering and support to the field
*Have in depth knowledge of the market and supplier capabilities and will have detailed technical knowledge and be aware of current developments in their field
*Extensive experience of compressors/rotating and compression systems in Oil & Gas application. Will have experience of all major types of compressors (radial, axial, integrally geared, reciprocating, centrifugal, screw, etc.) and their drivers (Diesel, Gas Driven and motor driven)
*Fully conversant with the relevant codes and standards (API611, 612, 617, 618, 672 ETC.) and ideally involved with development of these standards via membership of one or more API committees
*Own and lead the project issues and needs relating to the compressor commodity, develop strong client / vendor relationships and develop junior members of the group
*Will planning for maintenance program in base/offshore as well as to evaluate result of oil analysis and improvement if required
*Break-down maintenance, Annual maintenance gas compressor unit
*Commissioning rotating/compressor package, major overhaul gas compressor
*Support planning for preventative maintenance program in operation.
*Daily check field reports and assist the instruction to field maintenance performed
*To supervise operating guideline and troubleshooting in operation and maintenance (Compressor software should apply)
*Manage Spare parts/ inventory / special tools and inventory set up for rotating / compressor package for maintenance and support operation

Qualification
*Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
*10+ years experience in gas compressor. Previous supervisory experience would be advantage.
*Good English communication both speaking and writing
*Good relationship with people and able to motivate people
*Good computer literacy - MS Office
*Flexible and be responsible for assigned tasks
