The Role:
Job Descriptions:
* According to agreed production plans, direct and monitor production, engineering and maintenance team to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plans, consistently with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
* Supervise direction and relevant engineering specifications and the requirements of relevant statutory rules, plan, direct, monitor and review all activities in maintenance, utility (water, gas, electricity) supply and plant engineering to support production needs with cost effectiveness and work efficiency.
* Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide that organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operations.

Main Task:
Manufacturing planning:
* Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards, to attain maximum efficiency in the production processes, inventory and shipping/ receiving functions at manufacturing plant are operating at levels which meet customers' needs and established financial benchmarks.
* Work closely with the relevant R&D personnel in organizing technology transfer and production for new/ modified products to ensure the production capability able to cope with the new requirements.
* Preparation and maintenance of machinery/equipment, utility, engineering and supply
* According to production requirements, make ready the production equipment / machinery, utility engineering and supply following specifications and quality standards to ensure the engineering support and machinery/ equipment are in place to meet production needs.
* Develop, monitor, implement and review the policies and procedures of maintenance/ repair services for production, including planning and coordinating the major activities/ projects in maintenance and repair services
Manpower planning and utilization:
* Decide the manpower requirements in the responsible departments and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Recruit, train, develop and evaluate the employees.
* Advise plant supervisors and monitor their performance on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances and the like which are essential for the manufacturing objectives.
* Control and minimize labor overtime, overhead costs and repair expenses.
* Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies, Consult with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
Budgeting and cost controlling:
* Decide, monitor and control the budgets in the responsible departments.
* Report on operation costs according to the company accounting policies and alert management cost and labor overrun.
* Make recommendation and implement solutions to problems related to same.
* According to agreed policies/procedures/criteria, deal with external suppliers and/or Purchasing Service Platform all machinery and parts contract negotiations, including monitoring the payment terms in order to reach cost-effectiveness.
* Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
* Keep current on information and technology affecting the department to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
Project management:
* Initiate, coordinate and monitor major plant related projects such as computerized integrated record keeping system, layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc, including miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
Safety and housekeeping:
* According to corporate, company and statutory EHS requirements, develop and monitor the relevant safety and environment protection policies and procedures applied in the relevant engineering areas together with EHS team.
* Incorporate shop floor units and plant cleanliness among plant personnel to maintain a working environment that supports production activities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
* Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in the area of manufacturing or engineering.
* Managerial skill, Leadership, organization, conflict resolution, time management, interpersonal communication
* Computer literacy, MS Office, SAP, Knowledge in IATF16949
* Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
