The Role:
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Develop and establish key client relationships;
* Prepare proposal response to client opportunities, including technical scope of work, pricing and support of commercial terms;
* Prepare project execution plans and delivers on selected project, as proposed to clients. Execute selected projects as the project manager, including client communications, achieving
expected project financial results and team/schedule / task coordination;
* Assist in subcontractor procurement and coordination. Conduct complex engineering, scientific assessment and analysis within key subject matter areas;
* Prepare technical reports, in whole or in part, depending on the size and complexity of the document and key subject matter areas;
* Perform moderately complex technical tasks or plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates project work for large work scopes;
* Demonstrate technical competency in a combination of areas including site remediation, environmental planning & permitting or environmental compliance;
* Assist in mentoring and directing junior level staff;
* Conduct multi-media sampling including soil, groundwater, vapor, indoor air, asbestos, and other regulated materials;
* Conduct emergency response efforts in response to spills or other client requests;
* Conduct oversight of subcontractors, including drillers (direct push, sonic, and hollow stem auger), remediation contractors and emergency response contractors;
* Evaluate compliance of subcontractor work against technical specifications and scopes of work;
* Review work plans, change order requests, payment requests and other subcontractor submittals;
* Demonstrate and maintain competency in a diverse set of environmental regulation;s
* Motivate, train and mentor subordinate staff assigned to his / her tasks or projects; and
* Entail both office and field work on a variety of projects primarily for industrial and commercial clients.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS. Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science;
* MS. Degree in related Environmental & Engineering field;
* Minimum of 10 years' experience working in the Middle East;
* A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience;
* Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
* Saudi national;
* Bilingual English and Arabic; and
* Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities.
