The Role:
 The Audit Support Advisor is accountable for the audit management reporting and management of the audit tools.
 The job holder also supports the Audit Professional Practices & Training with development of training material and Quality Assurance activities.
 Occasionally the job holder may assist the Shareholder Audit Coordinator with shareholder audit activities.
 It is important that the job holder can manage a large variety of audit related activities with varied responsibilities.
 With respect to audit management reporting and the management of audit tools a greater responsibility is required that when supporting the Shareholder Audit Coordinator and Audit Professional Practices & Training Lead.
 Assisting in Audit Reporting:
 Assist in the production of Key Performance Indicators for the Internal Audit periodic reporting cycles
 Assist in preparation of other periodic or ad hoc reports requested by the General and Technical Audit Director or other audit managers
 Assist in preparation of presentations to the Audit Committee and other management bodies
 Assisting in managing other audit tools
 Assisting in the implementation of audit tools
 Assisting in the maintenance of the audit tools
 Responsible for training auditors on the audit tools
 Assisting in creation and updating Excel based audit tools
 Audit Planning
 Supporting the (yearly) audit planning activity (including the risk assessment) if and when required
 Quality Assurance activities
 Assisting the Audit Professional Practices & Training lead with the development of training materials;
 Development of audit methodology documentation and
 Quality Assurance activities. This includes the independent review of internal audit work papers of IT and Internal Auditors
 Occasionally the job holder may be asked to support in audits or other audit related activities outside his/her direct responsibility

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 University Degree
 The job holder must have at least 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Affinity with IT Tools, preferably with IT tools used in audit
 Understanding of the audit process and activities
 Delivery focus wrt reports and plans
 Experience with reporting, excellent writing skills
 Understand Project Drivers, Critical Success Factors and the use of KPIs to measure project performance
 Excellent Organisational / Interpersonal skills;
 An open mind and research orientated approach to Performance Improvement Management techniques
 Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgements and take decisions,
 Good influencing and presentation skills, ability to manage relationships in a multi-cultural environment, self- confidence end ethical behaviour,
 Reliable PC skills, Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel as a minimum.
 Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
 Well developed skills in both written and spoken English
