The Role:
Job purpose: Establish, manage and maintain effective IT/IM Architecture function to define a blueprint for the future development of the IT/IM landscape. The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to ensure that the respective business information, processes, applications, service, components, technology and relationships among them are in line with the organization technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.

Job Accountabilities:
* Ensures alignment of ICT&IM strategy and planning with company business goals from the architecture perspective.
* Develops a long-term strategic utilization plan for the company's ICT&IM systems and helps architectures through phasing and cost benefit analysis.
* Optimizes information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.
* Promotes the use of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensures that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and ICT&IM strategies.
* Collaborates with TD IM and POD Technical IT/IM and provides a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and synchronized with the ever changing business needs.
* Manages architecture risks associated with information and ICT&IM assets through the development, use and promotion of the appropriate standards and security policies.
* Work with various business and ICT&IM stakeholders to demonstrate and show business value of enterprise wide, shared architecture or to show value of any new strategic platforms being considered.
* Ensuring that the application/systems, data and technology aspects of the enterprise architecture are driven by the business imperatives of the organization and that the requirements driving the overall architecture are managed consistently and effectively.
* Serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods and tools.
* Act as coach to advise and assist consultants, advisors, ICT&IM technical specialists in any ICT&IM architecture disciplines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* The job holder must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information / Communication Technology or Computer Science.
* The job holder must have at least 10-15 years of experience in ICT area with at least 5-7 years of in-depth experience of individual ICT&IM discipline (e.g. Network & Telecom, Host & Storage, Applications, IM) and use of applicable methodologies, tools and techniques in complex environments. IT Architecture experience is preferred.
* The job holder must have knowledge of international standards, best practices and frameworks related to Enterprise or IT Architecture (COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, OBASHI, etc.).
