The Role:
The job holder must have:
* BSc Degree in environmental engineering or related discipline;
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working in environmental engineering related activities;
* Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of reporting and permitting procedures within the RoK;
* Knowledge of international codes and RoK regulations relevant to Environmental Protection.
The job holder must have proven:
* Thorough knowledge of RoK environmental legislation;
* Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional and multi-national environment;
* Good analytical skills;
* Good presentation skills, including good writing of effective reports;
* Negotiation skills (regulatory bodies at all levels);
* Ability to work with minimum supervision;
* Demonstrated ability to write and understand technical English and Russian. Kazakh language skills would be a distinct advantage;
* Computer literate on Microsoft programmes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, GIS, Performance Monitoring.
